There are actually five 18-hole golf courses here - the most famous of these, the Black Couse, hosted the U.S. Open in 2002 and will host again in 2009.
The Black Course is a difficult and challenging course that should be played only by low-handicap golfers. The course is for walkers only and its slope rating is one of the highest in the northeast.

The Green Course features gentle slopes and small greens. It is an excellent course for the casual golfer, but can be made more difficult by playing from the regulation tees.
